i really enjoyed my stay at casa esmeralda by katari. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. the rooms were a decent size and clean, and i loved the breakfast selection. it was so convenient having free tea and coffee available near reception.

hard to believe this hotel has such good reviews. The check-out time of 9 am was simply ridiculous. Woudl ve been nice to get a room upgrade, but I guess that’s too much to ask. I almost wrote a nice review, but just couldn’t.

Comfortable room and fantastic breakfast with generous early service. However, the location felt a bit far from the city center.

Everyone was helpful. They even helped with my lost luggage from the airport! The room was comfy, and the breakfast was amazing with options like eggs and yogurt. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the city center. Giara is super accommodating! ☕️

Had a lovely stay! The location was fantastic, and the room was comfy with a perfect bed. I truly appreciated the little touches like the lovely decor and the quiet atmosphere—felt like a charming getaway.

But oh, darling, the blackout curtains were a bit of a joke. They promised me a good night’s sleep, but I ended up with a moonlight serenade instead!

Just a nice choice for a weekend trip in Cusco with great value for money. I appreciated the homemade breakfast and the variety offered every morning. Be aware of the walking distance to the main attractions, but it's doable and cheap for a taxi if needed.

The Deluxe Double Room was so comfy with a nice shower and free toiletries. Loved the flat-screen TV and the safety deposit box too. The breakfast was homemade and tasty, and there was ample cocoa tea for altitude sickness. Perfect place to relax after our hikes.
